Sinemet
Sinemet is an effective drug that is prescribed against tremor and muscle stiffness caused by Parkinson’s disease.
Sinemet is an antidyskinetic combination drug, which acts on the brain and gives relief to the symptoms.
An oral drug, Sinemet should be taken in empty stomach, either 2 hours before or 2 hours after meals. As the drug is a slow releasing tablet, the drug should only be swallowed and not chewed, crushed or broken.
The drug should be taken on a regular basis and take care not to miss any dose of Sinemet. In case you miss a dose, take it as soon as you realize it. But never take two dose of Sinemet together.
